About Moon
Click apply to start the adoption process. Moon is a striking member of a resilient feral cat colony that found sanctuary at the shelter several years ago. While some colony cats now enjoy playtime or gentle pets, many, including Moon, are still learning to fully trust people. The shelter is searching for adopters who have experience working with semi-feral cats and want to be part of these beautiful felines’ journey as they blossom into confident companions. If you have a cat-savvy household that appreciates the slow and rewarding process of building trust, Moon could be the perfect fit. Having lived his life as part of a large cat family, Moon will do best in a home where he can be adopted with a companion from his colony. His happiness and comfort will flourish with the support of a feline friend—especially his best pal, Tortie. Moon is an observant, gentle gentleman with beautiful golden eyes who has made tremendous progress under the care of his foster caregivers. He now enjoys occasional treats and calmer moments in human company. This sweet boy would thrive in a peaceful, low-key environment where he can continue to gain confidence at his own pace.
