Bagheera
AvailableBagheera is a male, medium-sized Domestic Short Hair/Tiger mix currently residing at Mower County Humane Society. He is an adult cat who is neutered, house trained, and has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. He is in good health, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and is best suited for homes comfortable working with a people-oriented, only-cat companion.
About Bagheera
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Bagheera was discovered abandoned in Austin and has since found his way to the rescue, hoping for a fresh start. He's a true people-cat and would much rather enjoy the company of humans than mingle with other cats. Best suited for homes with older children, Bagheera thrives with people as his main companions. He is neutered, up-to-date on his shots, and has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, making him a healthy addition to a responsible home. As of 2024, he's around 4 years old and prefers to be the only feline, as he doesn't feel comfortable around other cats. He did coexist briefly with two dogs without issue, so a dog-savvy family is possible. Because Bagheera can be a bit of a "nipper," adopters with knowledge of cat behavior and patience will be the best match. A pet carrier is needed for adoption, and adopters must be 21 years old. Bagheera is ready to share his loyalty with someone who understands and appreciates his unique personality. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
