By spring, outdoor exercise for Huskies in Miami is essentially unsafe. Rising humidity makes their double coat a serious liability. Indoor enrichment, frozen treats, and AC are the primary activity strategy. Consider treadmill training for maintaining fitness.

Summer

Jun – Aug

Miami summers are dangerous for Siberian Huskies. The combination of high heat and extreme humidity means their coat cannot cool them at all. Zero outdoor exercise. Multiple AC units, cooling mats, and indoor play are mandatory. This breed should not live in Miami without year-round AC.
