About Roko
Roko is a solid, lovable presence with a big head and an even bigger heart. Weighing in at about 60 lbs, he's a natural lapdog and can't get enough cuddling or kisses. Roko came from a tough situation—left behind by his previous owner and suffering from itchy, bare patches on his skin. Thanks to attentive volunteers, he's fully healed, and his short black coat shines now. He prefers lounging and is known as a classic couch potato but surprises everyone with occasional playful bursts, especially when soccer balls are around. Don't expect those toys to last, though—he's tough on them. True to his easygoing nature, Roko tires quickly and often winds down long before you'd expect. His foster says he's one of the easiest dogs to care for: house trained, not destructive, and generally calm. He does well with most other dogs, though can be reactive on leash. No cats for this guy. His gentle, sweet personality makes him a good match for families with children looking to welcome an affectionate, low-stress companion. Roko is about 7 years old, vaccinated, and neutered, ready to settle into a forever home that will appreciate his mellow, loving spirit. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
