Dove loved her person with her whole heart. When he went into a grocery store, she waited faithfully at the entrance, watching and hoping he would come back. But he never did. Now safe with us, Dove is slowly learning that not everyone leaves. She can be shy at first, but with patience and kindness, her gentle, loving personality begins to shine. Dove does wonderful in playgroups and truly enjoys other dogs, often welcoming new friends with a quiet sweetness. When she feels comfortable, she has the softest smile that can light up the whole room. She's still learning how to walk on a leash, but she's getting braver every day. Dove would do best in a calm, patient home that will give her the time she needs to feel safe and loved again. If you're willing to go slow, Dove will give you a kind of loyalty you can't teach, you can only earn.
