S’mores
AvailableS’mores is a young, medium-sized American Staffordshire Terrier mix living in Charlotte, NC. He is neutered, vaccinated, house trained, and gets along well with both dogs and cats. S’mores does best in a calm environment where he can open up at his own pace and would thrive with the company of another dog.
About S’mores
S’mores is two years old and spent half a year overlooked in a rural shelter, but he isn’t your average rescue. He’s the goofy best-friend type, always looking to join a doggie crew and play. He loves all dogs—big or small—and becomes their loyal tagalong. Once he trusts you, S’mores morphs into a quiet shadow, sticking close and checking in with gentle affection. He’s a bit wary at first, especially around men, but with patience he opens up into a tail-wagging, bowing, loyal companion. This is a dog who bonds deeply after a tough start, and he just wants someone who’ll give him time to feel safe. He’s house trained, walks well in familiar places, and finds comfort with canine pals. S’mores gets along with cats and dogs alike, prefers a home without children, and would be happiest with another friendly dog in the house. At playtime, he’s all bounce; at rest, he’s a cuddler.
