About April
April is a young female Labrador Retriever mix with a big heart and an even bigger set of paws. She adores playing and especially loves belly rubs—sometimes she'll even hang back from her sisters just to soak them in. While she can be shy at first around new faces, once she feels safe, she’s ready for affection and isn’t afraid to stick around for more attention. April is crate trained and sleeps peacefully through the night in her kennel. She’s also fully doggy door trained. She’s still working on leash skills and learning tricks, so a patient adopter willing to help her grow is a must. April gets along with dogs of all sizes and is good with children and men. She’s still a bit wary of being picked up but is naturally sweet and tolerant. April’s perfect home is one that gives her room to develop her own personality and offers lots of playtime and cuddles. She’ll do best with a family that respects her gentle nature and encourages her confidence. Give her a little time and she’ll return all the love tenfold. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
