Apollo is a small, senior male Shih Tzu living in Los Angeles, CA. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. While he’s lost most of his teeth due to dental surgery and has some difficulty hearing and seeing, he’s still spirited and enjoys life. Apollo’s loyalty and love for people shine through, and he is looking for a caring home.

About Apollo

Apollo came to rescue through a South L.A. outreach. When he arrived, he had a tumor on his head and a broken jaw, but after surgery and a major dental (he’s now mostly toothless), he’s feeling genuinely good. Despite being 11 years old, he’s lively—loves his meals, strolls, and carrying toys everywhere he goes. Apollo has some hearing loss and diminished eyesight, but his loyalty is unmatched. He enjoys the company of people and other dogs, but he’d thrive in a home where he’s the only pet who gets all the attention. Apollo isn’t keen on spending time alone and prefers being right in the middle of whatever’s happening. He’d be happiest in a household ready to spoil him and keep him company.
