Khepri (pronounced like keh-pree) is a 2-year-old, 38-pound border collie mix, and she is just as special as she looks. She’s been settling into foster life so beautifully. She’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves being close to her people. Her foster took her to the office and she did amazing—she was excited to meet everyone, soaked up all the attention, then relaxed and took a nap like she’d been doing it forever. Khepri seems potty trained and did great in her crate overnight. She’s still young and building confidence, but she’s already showing how smart she is. She gives that intense, thoughtful eye contact and you can tell her brain is always working. She’s going to thrive in a home that gives her both exercise and mental stimulation. She’s been using a long line outside and is still learning the leash, so she’ll need a little guidance there, but she’s doing really well and just wants to figure things out. Everyone who meets her comments on how beautiful she is—her striking eyes, her wolfy coat, her big paws… she’s truly stunning. And yes, her sploot is a solid 10/10. Khepri is a really special dog. She just needs a home that will help her continue to grow into her confidence and give her the love and structure she deserves.
