About Courtesy Listing Lucky
Lucky is a courtesy listing—he isn’t in the care of the Humane Society of West Alabama, but his current foster is seeking him a secure, loving home. Lucky was found alone on the roadside and has since been looked after and brought up to date on annual shots, heartworm prevention, and has been neutered. His routine is quiet and easygoing: he likes to spend his days following sunny patches around the house for naps. Lucky would do best as an indoor companion where he feels safe, with a fenced yard so he can run and play outside when he likes. His perfect match might be someone who’s retired, works from home, or just spends plenty of time around the house. Patience and a gentle hand will go a long way with him, as he sometimes gets territorial toward people he bonds with, and benefits from continued training. Lucky is crate trained and can be left alone for periods, and is comfortable around other dogs. He isn’t a good fit for homes with children, but is eager for attention and a steady presence. A fenced yard, plenty of attention, and a vet or home check are required to adopt him. Contact his caretaker directly to meet Lucky and see if he’s your match. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
