About Lizzie
Lizzie is a survivor with a knack for cuddles and a coat so soft you won't want to stop petting her. She came from tough beginnings by a grocery store in Camden, AL, fighting hunger and crawling with fleas, but after receiving care and some much-needed nourishment, she bounced back into a healthy, happy dog. Now, Lizzie’s a gentle soul who seeks out closeness and offers calm, steady companionship. Her silky, long coat and red-brindle coloring set her apart, but it’s her warm presence that makes her truly memorable. She’s happiest when paired up with her best friend Buster, and together they’re a perfect match for someone who wants twice the love and loyalty. Lizzie gets along well with other dogs and children, but cats are a no-go for her. She’s house trained and has recovered fully from her rough start, ready to settle into a quieter, caring home. If you’re looking for a pair of devoted dogs who’ve already beaten the odds, Lizzie is waiting in Thomasville, AL. Start your journey together! Apply now.
