Curran is a male tabby with a short, chocolate-brown coat, living in Cincinnati, OH. At just 1 year and 4 months old, Curran has been neutered, vaccinated, and is fully house trained. He has no special needs but was born missing a toe on one back foot, an old injury that was managed well and does not currently limit him. Curran gets along well with both cats and children and would bring warmth and charm to any home.

About Curran

Curran’s story started as a winter stray in Sharonville, showing up at a neighbor’s door after months of wandering. He finally let someone close enough to help, but when no family claimed him and with no microchip, he became part of the Heartt Animal Refuge. Named Curran to celebrate Sharonville’s Olympic spirit, he’s become a bit of a local mascot—complete with an autograph from his namesake, Olympic gold medalist Connor Curran. Curran is calm, sweet, and dealt with shelter life with easy patience. He handled car rides and a 60-day quarantine without complaint, welcoming attention from staff with nose boops and even letting them dress him up for fun. Curran was neutered, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and is estimated to be just over a year old. He’s now free roaming, content to share space with other cats, though he prefers human company and affection over other felines. He does well with respectful children too. Curran was born without a toe on one back foot and has some old, badly healed trauma there, but he moves comfortably and doesn’t let it bother him now—though arthritis could become an issue in later years. You’ll need to be within 50 miles of Sharonville to adopt, and his adoption includes a special signed sticker and photo from Olympian Connor Curran. Ready to meet him?
