Mowgli may share a name with a famously wild child, but this 3-year-old Papillon mix has very specific ideas about how life in the “jungle” should be lived—preferably from the comfort of your arms. At a perfectly portable 9 pounds, he’s equal parts adventurous spirit and professional passenger. When Mowgli first arrived, he was running on the lighter side, and he’s been thoughtfully working his way toward a healthier, fuller version of himself ever since. He does have a bit of a… refined palate. Some might say picky, but Mowgli prefers “selective connoisseur.” He simply believes meals should spark joy, and he’s willing to wait for the right one. Despite his gourmet standards, Mowgli is playful, affectionate, and fully invested in having a good time. Toys? Yes. Fun? Absolutely. Being near his people? Non-negotiable. He’s got that sweet, loving nature that makes it very easy to forgive his more… creative interpretations of basic expectations. Take leash walking, for example. Mowgli has decided that walking on a leash is more of a suggestion than a requirement. Why walk when you can be carried like the small, important creature you are? Once he’s comfortable, Mowgli is all about connection. He’s affectionate, snuggly, and happiest when he’s close to his person, ideally being doted on just a little (or a lot).
