Meet Zera and her name means "new beginning." Zera came to us through an act of kindness an owner surrender from someone who stepped up to help when her original family couldn't take her back. She arrived a little unsure of the world, but with patience, her true self has started to bloom. Sweet, loving, and gentle, Zera gets along beautifully with all the dogs in her foster home and was wonderful with kids in her previous home. She's crate trained, potty trained, and ready for a fresh start. She just needs someone willing to go at her pace and the people who do are discovering something really special on the other side. Her dream home has a yard to explore, a friendly and playful dog to call her bestie, and a patient person who loves watching a shy dog find her confidence. Her foster mom says it best: "She is absolutely worth the patience." What a little butterfly she is literally and figuratively!
