She was surrendered by Amish breeders after not producing viable puppies and spent her entire life in a cage, so she is just now learning what it means to be a loved companion and family dog. Despite her past, Lilac is a joyful little girl who adores dogs, kids, and all people. She is friendly, social, and eager to connect with the world around her. Everything is new to her—she is still learning how to walk properly on a leash and is discovering toys for the very first time. She’s figuring out what to do with them, but her curiosity and playful nature are starting to shine through. One of her favorite things so far is zooming happily around the yard, finally getting to stretch her legs and feel free. Lilac has a medium energy level and would thrive in a loving, patient home that continues to show her the joys of everyday life. Because she is still adjusting and learning, a fenced yard is recommended in homes with younger children to help her feel safe and supported as she settles in.
