Sawyer is part of a lively litter that arrived at the rescue after being saved with their mom from a tough spot in rural West Virginia. Raised in a foster home, these puppies have fully enjoyed plenty of attention and socialization. Sawyer has grown up around young kids, becoming not just comfortable but gentle in their presence. He also gets along easily with other dogs and is respectful when interacting with them. This puppy enjoys yard play, tumbling in the grass, napping in a puppy pile, and always makes time for a good snuggle in your lap. Sawyer likes being carried around, playing with toys, and is curious and smart when it comes to learning new things—in fact, he's picked up on house training basics like heading outside or using newspaper. He is not yet house trained, but he’s eager to learn. Sawyer also does well with cats. He has a medium-length coat and, as a Beagle/Husky mix, promises to be a friendly and affectionate addition to any home ready for the energy of a young puppy.
