Sophie is part of a litter that was brought into rescue along with their gentle, loving mom, Suzie, after a tough start in rural West Virginia. Raised in a foster home, Sophie and her siblings have grown up surrounded by care, regular play, and plenty of human attention. This little pup is outgoing, sweet, and always eager to greet new people. Sophie’s had daily interactions with young children and shows patience and gentleness—she’s truly well socialized. She’s also respectful around other dogs, getting along seamlessly with the foster family's resident dog. At two months old, Sophie is still working on house training but is making progress with both outdoor potty breaks and newspaper use. She’s smart, playful, and enjoys every moment outside: sprinting in the yard, chasing after toys, rolling down the hill, or finding a warm lap for a nap. Sophie thrives on affection and loves to be right in the middle of the action, whether that’s puppy pile napping or sharing a cuddle.
