He was rescued alongside his mom and four siblings shortly after they were born, huddled under a tree in the scorching Egyptian summer while locals threatened their lives. Thankfully, caring rescuers stepped in, bringing all six dogs to safety. Since then, Sasha has grown up in the shelter, waiting patiently for his chance at a brighter future. Now, he has the opportunity to come to the U.S. and finally find the home he’s always deserved. Sasha is a 1.5-year-old Baladi/Husky mix pup weighing about 42 pounds. He has a lovely medium energy—he enjoys playtime and companionship but also knows how to relax with his people. Sasha gets along well with other dogs, is great with people and kids, and would make a wonderful addition to many families. This affectionate, easygoing guy doesn’t need to be the only dog; he’d enjoy a canine companion but will be just as happy being your loyal best friend.
