About Dixie
Dixie is looking for a new home or foster by 5/31/26 after being adopted as a puppy in 2022. Her family made the decision to rehome her because of their own life changes—not because of anything Dixie did. She’s a black Lab/Terrier mix, around four years old, with a nice mix of affectionate calm and typical Lab energy when she’s out in the world. Indoors, she wants to cuddle; outside, she’s ready for fun. Dixie does well with kids and loves meeting new people of all ages. She’s never lived with cats, so it’s still a question mark on that front. Dixie is healthy, spayed, and current on vaccinations. She’s had reliable vet care, and her previous home is even offering to help keep her Banfield Wellness Plan going. She’s medium-sized at about 44 pounds and house trained, making her easy to settle back into a home routine. She’s based in Spring City, PA right now and is hoping for a family who’ll appreciate her loving, easygoing personality. Let’s make her next home her final, forever spot. Start your journey together!
