With patient care and plenty of love, she has blossomed into a playful sweetheart. Although her little nub tail may set her apart, it doesn’t limit her agility—she climbs expertly and confidently claims the best spots on any available lap, even nudging her siblings aside. Pinto delights in wand toys and has become a favorite companion for the two children under six in her foster home. At first, their energy startled her, but she now seeks out their gentle attention and lovingly accepts lickable treats. Pinto is also growing accustomed to the three energetic dogs in her foster home. While she still keeps her distance from the largest pup, she does quite well with the smaller dogs and, given her young age, is likely to flourish with patience and careful introductions to future canine housemates—especially smaller ones.
