Grey Cat
AvailableGrey Cat is a small, young female Russian Blue/Domestic Short Hair mix, around 3 years and 4 months old, currently in Knoxville, TN. Grey Cat's journey shows she adapts with patience and understanding, making her a good fit for someone with some cat experience.
About Grey Cat
Grey Cat is a bit of a puzzle, but she has made steady progress. She came from the streets, was thought to be feral, and was surprisingly already spayed. After living as a neighborhood cat for a while, it turned out she was willing to let residents pet her, which is how her search for a better home began. She has grown more tolerant since then—Grey Cat now accepts other cats nearby, even sharing her cat tree if they're nonaggressive. She follows her people around, kneads with her paws, and enjoys being petted—right up until she doesn't. When she's had enough, expect a swat without much warning. Overstimulation is almost guaranteed to get a reaction. She has been in foster care for a long time, building trust and gradually becoming more social. Grey Cat would do best with someone experienced with cats who appreciate a more complex personality. She'll be fine in a home with laid-back cats and even dogs that leave her alone. She likes wand toys, birdwatching, and sometimes splashing in her water. If you're ready for a challenge with its own rewards, she's waiting. Let's make it official, apply to adopt!

Questions about Grey Cat
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Grey Cat, being a mix of Russian Blue and Domestic Short Hair, is adaptable but typically does best in a calm and patient home where she can have her own space and interact on her terms.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Grey Cat is happy living indoors and doesn't require outdoor space, though she enjoys watching birds from the safety of a window perch.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Because of Grey Cat's tendency to swat when overstimulated, she is better suited for adult or cat-experienced homes rather than homes with young children.
