Our adorable Doug is around 3 years old and is 50 pounds of pure, uncomplicated happiness. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t overthink things. Life is good, people are great, other dogs are friends, and honestly, that’s all he needs to know. Doug is sweet, funny, and has a goofy personality that will keep you smiling. He enjoys hanging out with other dogs and would be happy to have a canine buddy in his forever home but would be just as content being with his people and soaking up attention. Doug has a natural talent for being exactly where you are. Kitchen? He’s there. Couch? Already waiting for you. Backyard? Absolutely ready to go. He’s your loyal sidekick in all things, big and small. ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/4yy3nz2d - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
