He came to the Caddo Parish shelter as an owner surrender alongside his buddy Pinto, but quickly made things unforgettable by slipping past multiple people and doors for an impressive little “eggscape.” He stayed nearby, outsmarting every attempt to catch him while cats and several opossums were trapped instead. After days of searching, Sara finally found him tucked away deep inside a hole between concrete blocks, his scruffy face peeking out from the back of a tunnel. She carefully lassoed him and brought him to safety at last. Egg earned his name because, instead of hunting for Easter eggs, Sara was searching for one very lost little dog.
