About Koda and Kira
Meet Kira and Koda, two Doberman siblings whose world changed when they lost one of their owners. With so much upheaval, their remaining family made the hard but loving decision to help them find a new home where they could stay together. Both will turn three in May—Geminis, so they’re likely to keep you guessing with their blend of spunk and calm. Kira brings the energy and curiosity, while Koda takes things a bit slower and lets his sister steal the spotlight. Recently neutered, Koda and soon-to-be-spayed Kira have been adapting well with staff, showing their good temperaments. Both walk nicely on leash, though Kira sometimes reacts to other dogs and has a high prey drive—so an experienced, Doberman-savvy adopter is a must. Because they’re each over 85 pounds, they’d do best in a home with older kids who know dogs. These two are deeply bonded and need a family that can keep them together. They’re ready for their next chapter—ideally with someone who truly understands the Doberman breed and will champion their growth. Click apply to start the adoption process.
