Please keep in mind that a shelter environment can be stressful for cats like her, and often, their true personality flourishes in a loving, stable home. If Katerina appears anxious or a bit shy during your visit, this is simply a reaction to her temporary surroundings—once settled into a home, she is sure to thrive. For kittens and teenagers under 12 months, the rescue helps their development by adopting them in pairs unless there is already another playful animal in your household. Fostering select cats is also an option if you're not ready to commit long-term. Please note, cats and kittens are not placed on hold due to high demand and meeting available pets in person is required.
