Deepali came from a rough start in a border town in south Texas—skinny, with skin infections, and fighting through heartworms. She sports a distinct bouncy twitch in her walk, likely a result of surviving distemper, but she doesn't let it slow her down for a second. Once she moved to Houston, she adapted fast, comfortable in her crate with her donut dog bed and a steady supply of kibble. Deepali is crate trained and house trained. She gets along with other dogs but can resource guard food, sometimes barking fiercely even though she’ll panic if another dog confronts her. Her nervous system issues give her back feet a constant dance, but she still sprints to be first in line for treats or to meet her dog pals.
