About Dancing Deepali
Dancing Deepali is a survivor in every sense. Found as a skinny, twitchy mama dog along the Texas border, she beat the odds and has made a real comeback. Her hind legs do a little dance, likely a lasting result of distemper, but she navigates life with confidence and even sprints for her favorite treats. Deepali settled into suburban foster life easily, quickly learning routines and loving her donut dog bed and crate. She’s fiercely protective of her food—her bark is much worse than her bite, and she actually gets nervous if another dog pushes back. That said, she lives with other dogs and is happiest when people are near. Human attention and sofa snuggles are her favorite. Deepali is typically housetrained, crate trained, spayed, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. At an estimated 4–6 years old, she shows no signs of slowing down, staying playful but mellow where it counts. Her compact size is perfectly suited for smaller homes or apartments, especially with regular leashed walks. Deepali gets along well with both dogs and children.
