About George

George is a big, gentle goofball with a talent for making people laugh. He loves walks and all kinds of adventures, but keep in mind, he’s strong and can easily tug the leash—so older kids would be the safest fit for his size and playfulness. While George loves attention and affection, he’s also sturdy enough to knock over the little ones by accident. He came in with his buddy Jazz, and while it’d be sweet to see them head home together, they’re perfectly fine finding families on their own. Around here, George has earned the nickname 'Teddy-Dog' because he’s so affectionate and easygoing. Short-coated and striking with his blue and white coloring, he’s classic Pit Bull Terrier through and through. George is not yet house trained, but he’s eager to please and ready for a home that understands the needs of big, silly, loyal dogs. Born under the sign of Aries, George brings extra boldness and energy wherever he goes. Click apply to start the adoption process.
