About Valentine D

Meet Valentine D, a 1.5-year-old pit bull terrier from Minnesota. After raising nine healthy puppies, she's finally ready to be pampered and find a family of her own. Valentine is all heart—she thrives on human company and wants to be close to her people at all times. Affection comes easy for her: she's happiest curled up next to you, asking for belly rubs and doling out gentle kisses. At night, she’s the ultimate snuggle buddy. Don’t let her cuddly nature fool you, though—Val loves to play. Toys, running around with her foster dog siblings, and treats are some of her favorite things. She gets along great with other dogs she knows, but she can show some fence-related frustration if she’s separated from unfamiliar dogs she can see through the barrier. For this reason, leashed yard time is best if you live near other dogs. Val is reliably house trained on a schedule and settles in her crate with a treat. She's very food-motivated and knows "sit" while working on "lay down." Because she sometimes greets with jumps and gives gentle "love nibbles," she'd be best with older children who can handle her enthusiastic affection. Valentine D is ready to shower her new people with devotion for years to come. Your new best friend is just one click away.
