She has a wonderful temperament and gets along beautifully with other dogs, thriving in a cage-free environment surrounded by plenty of canine friends. Her medical care is all up to date, including bloodwork, thyroid and urinalysis, spay, annual vaccines, fecal check, microchip, deworming, and heartworm testing. She’ll even come with a free month of pet insurance to help her settle into her forever home. Checkers is used to having a fenced backyard in a single-family home, so this is preferred, but not required. The rescue does ask that adopters be Palm Beach County residents, complete an application and home check, and provide at least five years of veterinary history for any current or previous dogs—no exceptions.
