About Griffin
Griffin is a compact, brown pit mix with the endearing habit of keeping his tongue out and rolling over for belly rubs as soon as you look his way. At around 2 years old, he’s crate trained but can be vocal until he settles down. He's fully potty trained and vaccinated, and he’s already neutered and microchipped. There’s a silly sweetness about Griffin: he loves lounging on his back and just being in the same room with you, especially if you’re a woman—he clearly prefers female companionship, both people and dogs. Slow introductions to men are best, as that helps him relax and trust. Food and toys are things he likes to keep to himself, so feedings happen separately around other dogs. Griffin isn’t one for rough play or big adventures; he’s content to wander on leash, taking in the world at a calm, gentle pace. He’s a frequent barker though, so apartment life would be tough—he’s better suited for a house where he won’t disturb neighbors. He gets along well with cats and female dogs, but would do best in a home without kids. Click apply to start the adoption process.
