Meet Sweet Pea! Sweet Pea came into our organization when his family fell on hard times and joined us with his mom Roo Bear. Sweet Pea is about a year old (as of March of 2026) and is rocking life in his foster home. He absolutely loves going for walks and does great on a leash. He does not currently and did not previously have a fenced in yard and does great - though we're sure he would love to run around a fenced in yard. He is house trained and crate trained (still barks a little at night time), but does sleep through the night in his crate (we're pretty sure he would LOVE to snuggle in bed but we will let adopters decide if that's what they would like to do). He loves everyone he meets dogs, adults, kids and previously lived with a cat (does not currently). He is taller than you would expect from a Doxi mix but he just fills that space with extra love and desire for cuddles. His nose and brain are constantly working and he loves to work for his meals (snuffle mats and puzzles) and picks up on training quickly!
