Questions about Boom
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Chihuahua/Dachshund mixes are typically best suited for homes where they can spend lots of time with their people. They do well in apartments or houses, as long as they get enough attention and stimulation.

A Chihuahua/Dachshund mix does not require a large yard, but does benefit from regular walks and playtime outside. A small fenced yard or safe walking area is usually sufficient for their exercise needs.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
These mixes are generally suitable for homes with respectful children. Their small size means supervision is important around very young kids to prevent accidental injuries on both sides.
