Elessar is a black and white tuxedo, medium-sized adult male who currently lives in Hillsboro, OR. He is a neutered, house trained cat who does best as the only pet in a calm home. Elessar is up to date on his long-term vaccinations and prefers indoor living, though he enjoys supervised outdoor time in a secure space.

About ELESSAR Offered

Elessar came into his home as a hand-raised kitten in 2019 and immediately showed a knack for bringing gentle, quirky energy to everyone around him. While at times reserved, he is the kind of cat who quietly follows you from room to room, carrying on a soft conversation and keeping a watchful presence. Independence is important to him, yet he reliably transforms into a sweet, affectionate companion at bedtime—often climbing on the pillow to keep you company through the night. Now seven years old, Elessar prefers playtime that involves interactive toys, especially the laser pointer. He has a knack for gentle, ragdoll-like floppiness when he trusts you, and he’s cooperative about things like grooming or the occasional nail trim. Long stretches of lap time aren’t really his thing, but he’ll always choose closeness on his own terms. Elessar especially loves supervised outdoor time in secure enclosures—a catio or fenced yard would be ideal. While he can adapt to homes with older, cat-savvy children, a calm and understanding environment suits him best. He does not get along with other cats or dogs, so a single-animal home is necessary for his comfort and happiness. Elessar is neutered, house trained, and up to date on long-term vaccines. He currently lives in Hillsboro, OR. Elessar is looking for a new home due to changes in his owner’s life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
