Meet Sandy, Brandy, Aslan, Zoe, and Canito These five adorable siblings were rescued in Puerto Rico and are now hoping for a chance at the lives they deserve. With so many homeless animals on the island and not nearly enough homes, puppies like these often never get the opportunity to be adopted without help. At just 1.5 months old and around 4–5 lbs each, they are sweet, social, and off to a wonderful start. They will receive two rounds of vaccines before traveling and will need to be spayed and neutered when they are old enough. They are almost ready to fly to the States, but we need fosters or adopters lined up before we can book their flights. They are expected to grow to about 20–29 lbs, making them a great fit for many families. Their mom has such a story of resilience. She is cautious at first but incredibly loving once she feels safe. It is clear she was once someone’s pet before being abandoned and left to survive on the streets while raising her five puppies on her own. Thankfully, a kind person stepped in to help feed her so she could care for her babies. We would love to find her a safe, loving home as well, and she will be spayed so she never has to go through this again.
