Otis loves long walks, rolling and kicking in the grass, and spending time with his favorite Kongs. He enjoys polite roughhousing with his people and brings lots of joy with his playful, gentle personality. When Otis first arrived, he was dealing with an extensive leg injury and needed extra medical care. Thanks to the dedication of our team and partners, he has recovered beautifully and truly blossomed during his time with us. Otis is Lyme positive, which is manageable with proper care, and he is currently doing well on his medication. Regular flea and tick preventatives are essential for his continued health. Otis can be a little cautious with new people and dogs, but with slow, positive introductions, he quickly becomes comfortable and confident. For this reason, he is best suited for a home with children ages 12 and up, and any resident dogs will need a meet-and-greet to ensure a great match.
