About Apollo

Meet Apollo! Apollo is a stunning German Shepherd, about three to five years old, with a deep brown coat and a heart that keeps surprising you. Found as a stray, he’s shown genuine trust and sweetness, even after someone left him with a rough mark of their disregard—a string tied around a growth on his back leg. That ordeal is behind him, though, and his resilience is what stands out now. His vision is limited in one eye and will fade completely in the future due to retinal disease, but Apollo still greets each day confidently. He moves with a wagging tail, staying in the moment. He’s just finished treatment for a skin issue, and his coat is filling in again—his warmth and optimism show even without a perfect coat. Apollo’s ready for a home that will be gentle through his changes, offering patience and real companionship. He’s looking for a family willing to see him for who he is, and to walk beside him as he explores his world. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
