About Randy

Meet Randy! Randy is a wonderful 10-month-old pup, originally rescued in April 2026 from a partner rescue in El Centro, California. His past is a bit of a mystery; he might have been found as a stray in Mexicali, or perhaps he was born in the shelter with his siblings. Regardless, he's a sweet boy on the lookout for a foster or foster-to-adopt home. Since moving into foster care, Randy has proven to be a loving companion. He adores attention and enjoys playing with other dogs. Sunbathing is a favorite pastime, and he sleeps peacefully in his crate at night—though he wouldn't mind sharing a bed. Randy has had no accidents in his foster home, which is impressive for a young puppy. He walks well on a leash, but can feel anxious in new situations. With consistency and proper socialization, he’s sure to grow even more comfortable in his environment. Randy is a medium-sized boy with a short coat, and while he may not be exactly what we thought, he's got the spirit of a beagle. He deserves a calm and loving home where he can thrive.
