Adrienne is a senior female Yorkshire Terrier, approximately 12 years and 1 month old, with beautiful gray and tan coloring. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and has overcome significant medical issues, including dental disease and glaucoma. Adrienne is visually and hearing impaired but adapts well to her environment. She does well with both cats and dogs and is currently in Houston, TX.

About Adrienne

Adrienne arrived at CAMO in truly rough shape, facing severe dental disease, demodex mange, and advanced glaucoma that led to the removal of her right eye. Now, after quality veterinary care and a lot of TLC, this resilient little Yorkshire Terrier is ready for a home that can help manage the glaucoma in her remaining eye. She needs daily eye drops, which she tolerates well, and regular veterinary checks, but her foster reports she's an easy patient who adjusts quickly. Adrienne is visually impaired, able to see only light and shadows, and has limited hearing, yet she navigates her foster home confidently and gets along with other dogs and cats despite occasionally bumping into things. In the beginning, Adrienne was timid and nervous, but she's settled into a calm, affectionate lap dog who enjoys lounging with her foster. Estimated at around 10 years old, she weighs 10 lbs, is spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. After dental surgery, she's toothless but eats canned food enthusiastically. Because of her visual and hearing challenges, she’s best suited for a quiet home without small children. Adrienne does well in the car and at the vet.
