Bosco
AvailableBosco is a 2 year and 4 month old male Bull Terrier with a large build. He is house trained, neutered, and currently located in New York, NY. While he doesn't have special needs, he's full of energy and always ready for a game. Bosco does best with other dogs and children, but isn't a fit for homes with cats.
About Bosco
Bosco is currently fostered in NC and has the kind of personality that fills a room. He came from Brookhaven shelter brimming with opinions and an endless drive for his tennis ball—if there’s a game of fetch happening, Bosco considers himself the star. Life in his first foster home was a bit overwhelming for the resident animals; Bosco’s high energy and barky nature were a lot to manage. Rescue is often about finding the right situation. With Ashleigh and her older, gentle dog as a role model, Bosco’s now learning the ropes, figuring out how to channel his busy mind, and understanding there's more to life than chasing after toys. He still lights up at the sight of a ball, but he’s discovering the art of settling down, listening, and following a steadier lead. With calm guidance and a dog friend to look up to, Bosco’s softer side keeps coming out, and it’s clear he’s capable of real progress in the right home. He gets along with dogs and children but does not get along with cats. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
