About Abby
Abby is a nine-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix who’s seen some harder times. She lost her previous home when her owner couldn’t take care of her anymore, but she’s never lost her gentle, sweet spirit. Abby loves people—she happily sits close for company and especially enjoys time spent with children. She has a soft spot for squeaky toys and will hang out by your side, content just to be included. Her easygoing nature makes her a joy to have around. Abby is currently up to date on vaccinations, is microchipped, spayed, and has been tested heartworm-negative. She recently went through cancer treatment, having four mast cell tumors removed. There’s a chance her cancer could return, but for now, she’s doing well and enjoying her time with loving foster parents. Born August 16, Abby is a Leo, so she’ll never shy away from warmth and attention. She’s looking for a home ready to appreciate her for exactly who she is. Ready to meet your new best friend?
