About Hammie
Hammie’s story didn’t start with a fairytale beginning. She was found dodging cars in the middle of the road, trusting a stranger enough to hop into his car and let her luck turn around. Nobody claimed her, and she had no microchip or collar. Despite that rocky start, Hammie is sweetness personified, filled with trust and love for people. About a year old and weighing around 36 pounds, Hammie is just right for curling up on the couch or keeping pace on a trail. She’s gentle, loyal, and the sort of dog who sticks by your side, always eager for company and adventure. She gets along easily with other dogs, loves being with children, and is reliably house trained—including using the doggy door. She’s spayed and current on vaccinations, microchipped, fully vetted, and ready for her new chapter. Hammie’s the girl who’ll be at the door when you get home, hang on your every word, and remind you how good life can feel with a loyal friend by your side. She’s all heart—a gentle, loving presence looking for her person. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
