About Amos

Meet Amos, a charming young hound mix who is just shy of a year old. Rescued in March 2025 along with eight siblings, he was left abandoned in rural Kentucky. While he shares playful traits with his brothers and sisters, Amos is slightly calmer and quieter, making him a fantastic fit for families with children of all ages. Amos is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm, tick, and flea preventative, plus he’s microchipped. He’s crate trained, perfectly comfortable spending time in his crate, and has also been on outings to dog-friendly venues. His leash manners are impressive, and he has completed basic house training. Though he’s a bit of a chewer, proper crating keeps his curious spirit in check. This lovely boy is friendly and gets along well with dogs, and with the right introductions, he can be playful with cats, too. A fenced yard would be ideal for Amos, as he enjoys both running around and snuggling up for affection. Reach out to learn more about him and to schedule a meet-and-greet soon!
