Zoey is a 7-year-old gentle soul who's still finding her footing in a brand-new world. After arriving at the shelter, she's understandably overwhelmed, and the transition has been tough on her. Zoey is very shy and avoidant at first, preferring to keep her distance while she takes everything in at her own pace. But if you give her time and patience, you'll start to see glimpses of the sweetheart she truly is. As she slowly begins to feel safer, her soft, loving nature starts to shine through in the quietest, most rewarding ways. Zoey will need a calm, understanding home that can offer her the space and reassurance she needs to build trust. She is not currently dog-friendly, though we will continue to monitor this as she becomes more comfortable. This special girl may take a little extra time to open up, but for the right person, the bond you build with Zoey will be something truly meaningful.
