Angelita is a 7-9 year old sweet, soulful senior girl with a hilarious personality and great leash manners. She is loving elderly dog looking for a calm home & sunny naps. She is funny, loyal companion who is quiet at home, great on leash, full of charm. She weighs 35 lbs....a small-ish dog, who is up to date on all shots and ready for her new home. She's a deeply loving girl who has clearly survived a tough past but still greets life with sweetness and charm. She’s small/medium at 35 lbs, estimated 7–9 years old, fully vetted and spayed. She’s quiet in the home, doesn’t destroy anything, is house-trained, and enjoys her crate. She loves sunbathing, snuggling into cozy beds, and relaxing near you while you work or watch TV. She’s good on leash and would thrive in a calm, quiet home with access to a yard. She’s learning dog-to-dog manners on walks and may not be a typical dog-park dog, but she’s a loyal, affectionate companion who will make you laugh daily. Angelita is a beautiful, wise, and thoughtful soul with so much love to give. Despite a difficult past (visible in her old scars and injuries), she is fun, funny, and full of character. She makes her foster laugh daily with her stiff-legged trot like Charlie Chaplin, sassy attitude, and adorable, playful moves. She is currently being fostered in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and has been in training for Good Canine Citizenship for approximately 90 days, making wonderful progress. She's house-trained, crate-trained, not destructive, and a great loose-leash walker. Her ideal home would be a house with a yard, and a home with a calm stable routine. She bonds tightly with people. We can arrange for shipping, or if you want to come for a visit to Mexico, we will figure out how to send a 'flight angel' to travel with her. In any event, we will make sure she comes to you if you want to adopt her.
