About Angelita
Angelita is a 7–9 year old Shar-Pei/Labrador Retriever mix whose soft eyes and calm, resilient spirit say a lot about her. This girl is small-medium at 35 lbs, fully vetted, and spayed. Sunbathing is her favorite hobby—give her a sunny spot and she’ll find it. She loves cozy beds, relaxed company, and napping beside you as you unwind or work. At home she’s quiet, never destructive, house-trained, and enjoys her crate. Angelita walks great on leash and has a pretty funny trot—her stiff-legged, Charlie Chaplin style is hard to ignore. She’s affectionate and loyal, happiest in a lower-traffic, routine-oriented household with a yard to lounge in. She’s not really a dog-park type; she’s working on her social skills with other dogs and would do best in a calm environment where she can settle in tight to her person. Scars from her past only add to her character, not take away. Her personality is a sweet mix of wise, sassy, and playfully stubborn. Angelita is fostered in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and has finished three months of Good Canine Citizenship training. She can travel to you—her rescue will arrange everything, whether you visit or need her flown to the U.S. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
