About Lola Bio Below
Lola is a small, resilient Miniature Poodle mix with a long, white and cream coat who came into rescue after caring bravely for her puppies. Once wary and protective, especially after her rough start as a stray, she's learning to trust and now enjoys being close to people she knows—she follows her person everywhere and loves lap time. Lola is bright and independent but has a sweet side, warming up over time and discovering how much she likes playing with toys and relaxing indoors. While she uses a dog door perfectly, she’s still figuring out house habits when given free roam, so an adopter ready for some patient guidance is key. She’s not a fan of other dogs and prefers being the only pet. Lola’s ideal home is active, gentle, with older kids or adults who respect her need for space and patience as she settles in. Expect regular grooming every 4–6 weeks—her coat needs it. She’s spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Out-of-state adoptions are welcome as long as adopters travel to meet her in Peralta, NM. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
