Meet Bandit, a young male Border Collie mix currently residing in Peralta, NM. At around 32 pounds, he has a medium-length coat in a stunning blend of white and cream with splashes of brown. Bandit came to us after a challenging time, but with his eagerness to learn and love for people, he is thriving. Though he has faced some behavioral issues in the past, he is making strides in learning to interact positively with others. He is a shadow dog, enjoying every moment spent with his people. Bandit is full of energy and needs an active family who can keep up with him—think fetch, swimming, or long runs. While he plays enthusiastically, he’s still working on being gentle, so he’s best suited for homes without young children. This bright boy is house trained, loves his doggy door, and is currently learning to manage his excitement during play. Bandit does well with other dogs and is becoming adept at proper play behavior, thanks to his furry friends. He’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
