Abbott is a young, medium-sized, male Domestic Medium Hair cat who is currently located with the Alaska Cat Adoption Team. He is a gray tabby with a history of sensitive digestion, but is now healthy and thriving. He has been neutered and is fully up to date on his vaccinations, including Rabies. Abbott's early experience has made him a bit shy at first, especially around new people and environments, but with time and patience, he has great potential to become a loving companion.

About Abbott

Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today. Abbott and his brother Costello have come a long way since their challenging beginnings. Born around May 20, 2024, these two handsome tabby brothers—Abbott is gray while Costello is brown—were taken in by Alaska Cat Adoption Team after being surrendered by someone trying their best to care for them under difficult circumstances. Initially very sick and underweight, both boys responded well to dedicated medical care and a special diet, slowly blossoming into healthy young cats. While they still have some sensitivity to certain foods, they are now stable and ready to find a loving forever home. Abbott is the quieter, shyer of the pair. With patience, tasty treats, and a calm environment with fewer other cats, he will warm up and thrive, allowing pets at his own pace. Costello, on the other hand, is the outgoing cuddle bug who seeks attention both vocally and affectionately. The two brothers share a strong bond, always seeking each other out for play and comfort. Because of this, it would be ideal for Abbott and Costello to be adopted together so they can continue to support and enjoy one another in their next chapter. They are currently fostering in Anchorage and are ready to bring gentle companionship to their future family. Fun fact: With a birthday around May 20, Abbott is a Gemini—a sign known for curiosity and adaptability! Your new best friend is just one click away.
