About Costello

Costello and his brother Abbott came into foster care as kittens fighting to survive. Born around May 20, 2024, these tabby brothers were just a month old, badly ill, and not growing when they arrived. Their original owner, living out of a vehicle, did their best, but the boys still struggled. Foster care brought medications and a protein-rich diet, and after a long stretch of ups and downs—including a spell of stubborn stomach issues—the boys finally turned a corner. Both can have sensitive stomachs, so not every food agrees with them, but they have grown into strong, striking cats. Costello is the more outgoing of the two. He jumps on the bed to head butt for attention and turns on a loud purr with little encouragement. Treats are a guaranteed way to make friends. He and Abbott are deeply bonded and never far apart, seeking each other out even in a house full of cats for roughhousing or a cuddle nap. These brothers would do best adopted as a pair so they can keep their connection and entertain each other when their people are busy. If you want a loving, social companion (with a bonus independent sidekick), Costello is ready for you. He has been neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Costello and Abbott are currently fostered in Anchorage and are ready to find their forever home in Palmer, AK. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
