About Costello

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Costello and his brother Abbott were born around May 20, 2024, and faced quite a challenging start during their early days in foster care. These charming tabby boys (Abbott is gray, and Costello is brown) arrived at just a month old, both very ill and struggling to thrive. Their previous caretaker had done their best under tough conditions but couldn't provide what the boys needed, so ACAT stepped in. With dedicated treatment, special diets, and lots of care, both kittens gradually regained their health—though they occasionally still have sensitive tummies and do best on specific foods. When given treats, their initial shyness melts away and these boys quickly warm up. Costello and Abbott share a strong bond, seeking each other out for play and companionship even in a busy house with other cats. Ideally, these two would stay together and bring double the joy to their future home. Costello, affectionately called Lou, especially delights in purring, head-butting, and curling up with his people. Abbott provides company for Costello if your schedule keeps you away, making them the perfect pair. Costello is vaccinated, dewormed, neutered, microchipped, and ready for his forever home along with his brother. They are fostering in Anchorage and would love to become part of a loving family. Fun fact: Since Costello was born on May 20, he's a Gemini—the sign known for its playful curiosity! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
