About Bear

Bear is the classic sweetheart out of his litter. He’s the little brother, the runt who got a few extra days of being mama’s boy, and it shows in all the best ways. Soft and fuzzy with black and white coloring that leans toward Border Collie, Bear is truly loving and gentle. Around people, he shows a quiet confidence, not pushy—but curious and open. He’s bashful at first, but has started to find his voice and enjoys meeting new folks and exploring different places. This pup is a total snuggle bug. He often seeks out contact, wanting to be held or petted, and can be content just basking in affection. Still, he’s more than happy to get moving for a game or splash around in the water when the mood strikes. Most of the time he’s calm and mellow for his age, content to curl up or soak up attention, making him easy to have around the house. Bear is not yet house trained, but given his temperament and eagerness to be close, that’s likely to come with some patience. He’s currently looking for a foster and ultimately a forever home in the Morganton, NC area (within 75 miles, for home visits).
